The RefreshServerComplianceState method forces the client to send full software updates compliance data to the Configuration Manager server. Typically, the client sends only a delta of the compliance data. In rare circumstances, if the client and server compliance state becomes out of sync, the RefreshServerComplianceState method might help resynchronize the data.

Important

This method should be used only if absolutely required, because it will cause an increase in network traffic.

Parameters

This method takes no parameters.

Return Values

An HRESULT code. Possible values include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • S_OK
    The method succeeded.
