Software Updates and Maintenance Windows

System Center 2012 R2 Configuration Manager maintenance windows provide administrators with a way to define a period of time that limits when changes can be made on the systems that are members of a collection. Maintenance windows restrict when the software updates in deployments can be installed on client computers, in addition to restricting when operating system advertisements and software distribution advertisements can be installed.
