Enable Logging on the UNIX Agent

Applies To: Operations Manager 2007 R2

These logs will report the UNIX agent actions. If there is a problem with the data returned to Operations Manager, look in this log. These logs are used infrequently.

How to enable logging on the UNIX agent

  1. Log in to the UNIX host as root.

  2. From the shell, turn on full verbose logging by typing scxadmin -log-set all verbose.

The logs are located in /var/opt/microsoft/scx/log.
