This guide assumes that you have a basic knowledge of Operations Manager and understand all of the concepts presented in the Operations Guide for System Center 2012 - Operations Manager.

While the following topics are relates to authoring, they are covered in the Operations Guide for System Center 2012 - Operations Manager instead of this guide. This is because these features are available to users from the Monitoring workspace of the Operations console and may be used by a user without Author privileges or custom monitoring requirements.
