You can add internal or external links, slide shows, and menus to your Deep Zoom Composer composition. You can also use the tracking features in Deep Zoom Composer to record information about how your Deep Zoom images are used.
You can add interactivity to your composition by adding external or internal links to individual images or hotspots. A hotspot is a section of a Deep Zoom Composer composition that you define in order to add interactivity to it. After creating a hotspot, you can treat it like an image by modifying its properties, changing its size and position, adding internal and external links to it, and so on. When a user clicks an image or a hotspot that has a link created with Deep Zoom Composer, the content will either link to an external hyperlink or pan to the image or hotspot that you specified.
You can create a slide show presentation of your images. Your slide show can include hotspots, which you can use to arrange groups of images.

Menus provide a way to navigate your Deep Zoom Composer composition beyond clicking on individual images or hotspots. Users can click a menu item to pan to and zoom in on a specific image or hotspot.

You can add tags to images or hotspots in order to filter them when you view them in a browser, either by using a specific Deep Zoom Composer export template, or by using a Microsoft Silverlight application to arrange and position your content at run time.
You can set a minimum or maximum visibility limit for each image or hotspot in your composition to make whether an image or a hotspot is visible dependent on its size. For example, if you set a minimum visibility limit for an image or a hotspot, that image or hotspot will be visible only if you zoom in far enough. If you set a maximum visibility limit for an image or a hotspot, it will be visible only if you zoom out far enough.

Tracking page usage
You can track how users interact with images and hotspots in your composition by using tracking URLs generated by a third-party tracking provider, such as Microsoft Atlas. You can track both the click-through rate (CTR) and the number of times an image or hotspot in your composition is viewed when conditions you specify are met.
