Undo changes

You can reverse the changes that you make to a Microsoft Expression Design document one step at a time, or reversed all the way to the state when the file was last saved.

Undoing changes

To undo a change

  • To reverse the last change to a file, on the Edit menu, click Undo, or press CTRL+Z.

To reverse an Undo action

  • On the Edit menu, click Redo, or press CTRL+SHIFT+Z.

To return a document to the state when it was last saved

  • On the File menu, click Revert.

To set the number of Undo levels

  1. On the Edit menu, point to Options, and then click Memory and Undo.

  2. On the Memory and Undo panel, set the number of undo levels.

On the Edit menu, both the Undo and Redo commands include a description of what action will be affected. For example, after you move an object, the Edit menu displays Undo Translate.
