Quick start with WPF

This page applies to WPF projects only

In Microsoft Expression Blend, you design your Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) application visually, drawing shapes, paths, and controls on the artboard. You can import images, video, and sound. You can create storyboards that animate the visual or audio elements of your design, and optionally trigger those storyboards when users interact with your application.

Expression Blend 2 can import graphics from Microsoft Expression Design 2 as images, resource dictionaries, or XAML documents. You can optionally use Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 to package and deploy your Microsoft Windows-based applications.
