Go to a hyperlink or bookmark (HTML anchor)

When you want to view the web page, file, or bookmark (HTML anchor) that a hyperlink points to, you can do so from the web page that contains the hyperlink. You can also go to a bookmark from the web page that contains the bookmark, even if a hyperlink doesn't point to the bookmark.

In addition to regular hyperlinks, the Code view of a web page also displays code hyperlinks, which enable you to go to the code that contains a class-based style's rule set, a script function, or open an external cascading style sheet (CSS) that's attached to the page. The Code view displays both kinds of hyperlinks in blue (default) and with a straight underline (default) or according to the Code hyperlink settings in the Color Coding tab of the Page Editor Options dialog box.

  • In Design view or Code view, press and hold CTRL and then click the hyperlink in your web page.
