How to: View Managed Code Defects

During code analysis, errors, warnings, and messages are reported in the Error List window. You can use Error List window to view all code defects in your code. Additionally, you can select a warning in the Error List window; press F1 to view the associated Help topic.

To view managed code defects

  • On the View menu, click Error List.

    The Error List window is displayed. The next time you build your project, all managed code warnings will be listed here.
