Troubleshooting MessageQueue Components
You may encounter the following situation while working with the MessageQueue component:
Client is Not Recognized by Microsoft MessageQueue Service
If you are sending messages from a server configured as a Windows 2000 dependent client to a Message Queue enterprise and the enterprise server is a Windows NT Server 4.0 with Service Pack 4, you might receive the following error when you send a message to the queue:
"Service not installed."
To solve this problem
- Install Service Pack 6 or later on the Windows NT 4.0 server. For more information, see the Downloads section of the Microsoft Web site (https://www.microsoft.com/).
