Save Current Settings, Import and Export Settings Wizard

Use this page of the Import and Export Settings Wizard to save your active settings before importing new settings. You can access this wizard from the Tools menu by clicking Import and Export Settings.

    Select this option to create a backup of your current settings. You can later choose to import these settings to return to the current IDE state.

    Setting file name

    Enter a custom name for your current settings.

    Store my settings file in this directory

    Specifies the default directory where your current settings will be saved. Click Browse to specify a custom directory.

  • No, just import new settings, overwriting my current settings
    Select this option if you do not want to backup your current settings. If the settings file you are importing contains settings for category items you have customized, the imported settings will overwrite your changes.
