Synchronization is not working correctly between Team Foundation Server and Project Server

  • Project Server Synchronization Health Check

The Best Practices Analyzer Tool performs a number of checks to determine whether the synchronization engine on Team Foundation Server meets configuration and operational requirements for the integration of Project Server. If the synchronization process between Team Foundation Server and Project Server is not working correctly, one of the following errors might occur:

  • The synchronization job for Team Foundation Server and Project Server Integration has not been defined and scheduled.

    To resolve this issue, try performing a repair of Team Foundation Server.

  • Synchronization between Team Foundation Server and Project Server cannot be completed for some work items.

    For error details, open Team Explorer and view the history of each affected work item.
