How to: Remove Scripts

You can delete a script or keep a copy of it when you remove it from a project.

Note

Your computer might show different names or locations for some of the Visual Studio user interface elements in the following instructions. The Visual Studio edition that you have and the settings that you use determine these elements. For more information, see Visual Studio Settings.

To remove a script from a project

  1. Click the script you want to remove in Solution Explorer.

  2. From the Edit menu, click Remove.

  3. When prompted, click the Remove button to keep a copy of your script. It will be saved where your project is.

    –or–

    Click the Delete button to permanently delete your script.
