Parameters
index
Type: System.UInt32[in] Specifies the index of the child node of the current tree list to be expanded.
pfCanRecurse
Type: System.Int32%[out] Pointer to a flag indicating that the tree list can recurse.
pptlNode
Type: Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell.Interop.IVsLiteTreeList%[out] Pointer to the selected node's IVsLiteTreeList interface.
Return Value
Type: System.Int32
If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. If it fails, it returns an error code.

On successful return, the tree list node will be expanded in the object browser window, showing all child nodes. This is one of two available mechanisms for expanding a list. The preferred mechanism is GetCategoryField.
