How to: Show Check Constraint Properties

You can display properties for a constraint in the Properties window from Server Explorer, Database Diagram Designer, or Table Designer.

Note

Your computer might show different names or locations for some of the Visual Studio user interface elements in the following instructions. The Visual Studio edition that you have and the settings that you use determine these elements. For more information, see Visual Studio Settings.

To show constraint properties in the Properties window

  1. Select the column to which the constraint applies in Server Explorer, Database Diagram Designer, or Table Designer.

  2. From the View menu, click Properties Window.

  3. Use the dropdown list at the top of the Properties window to navigate down to the object you want. Navigate back up to the parent object and back down to see the properties of a different object.

The properties for the constraint are now visible in the Properties window.
