ProjectInstance.Build Method (IEnumerable<ILogger>)

Builds the default targets of the project with the given loggers.

MSBuild is now included in Visual Studio instead of the .NET Framework. You can use MSBuild 12.0 side-by-side with versions previously deployed with the .NET Framework.For more information, see What's New in MSBuild 12.0.

Parameters

  • loggers
    Type: IEnumerable<ILogger>

    The loggers to use for the build. May be null.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
Returns true if the build succeeds; false otherwise.

Remarks

Throws InvalidOperationException if any of the loggers supplied are already attached to the logging service.
