For the Checkbox control, specifies the text that appears next to a check box.

For the Button control, specifies the text on the button.

Remarks

When editing a Button design-time control, you can set the Image and AltText properties in order to display an image instead of a caption.

This property is mapped to the Caption text box on the General tab of the Button Properties and Checkbox Properties dialog boxes.
