Helper method that extracts the base URL for a specified Uri.

Parameters

The Uri from which to extract the base URL.

Return Value

A Uri that contains the base URL.

Remarks

The URL returned is the original URL without the query string.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
