Gets the credentials for the signing the assertion. Override this method to provide custom signing credentials.

Parameters

tokenDescriptor
The Scope property provides access to the signing credentials.

Return Value

The assertion signing credentials.

Exceptions

Exception type	Condition
ArgumentNullException	Thrown when 'tokenDescriptor' is null.

Remarks

The default behavior is to return the SecurityTokenDescriptor.Scope.SigningCredentials.

Thread Safety

Any public static (Shared in Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
