Converts the String to a Single equivalent.

Return Value

A Single equivalent of the string.
Exceptions
Exception | Condition |
---|---|
NullReferenceException | s is nullNothingnullptra null reference (Nothing in Visual Basic). |
FormatException | s is not in the correct format. |
OverflowException | s represents a number less than Single..::.MinValue or greater than Single..::.MaxValue. |
Remarks
If s is INF or -INF, this method returns Single.PositiveInfinity or Single.NegativeInfinity respectively.
