IOpcDigitalSignatureManager::RemoveSignature method (msopc.h)

Removes from the package a specified signature part that stores signature markup.

Syntax

HRESULT RemoveSignature(
  [in] IOpcPartUri *signaturePartName
);

Parameters

[in] signaturePartName

An IOpcPartUri interface pointer that represents the part name of the signature part to be removed.

Return value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include, but are not limited to, those in the following table.

Return code/value Description
S_OK
The method succeeded.
E_POINTER
The signaturePartName parameter is NULL.
OPC_E_NO_SUCH_PART
0x80510018
The specified part does not exist.

Remarks

If the specified signature part does not exist, this method will fail.

If a part is removed from a package, it will not be saved when the package is saved.

If a removed part is the source of one or more relationships, those relationships will not be saved when the package is saved.

Thread Safety

Packaging objects are not thread-safe.
