Custom Data Source Plug-ins
Windows Media Services includes plug-ins that can source digital content from a network, a push distribution, or a file. To capture content from an alternate source, you must create your own data source plug-in. For more information, see Creating Data Source Plug-ins and Data Source Plug-in Sample.
