IFPCArrayPolicy::ConnectionLimitPolicy property

Applies to: desktop apps only

The ConnectionLimitPolicy property gets an FPCConnectionLimitPolicy object that specifies the limits to the number of transport-layer protocol connections allowed at one time for default clients and special IP addresses. Examples of transport-layer protocols are TCP and UDP.

This property is read-only.

Syntax

HRESULT get_ConnectionLimitPolicy(
  IFPCConnectionLimitPolicy **ppConnectionLimitPolicy
);
' Data type: FPCConnectionLimitPolicy

Property ConnectionLimitPolicy( _
  ByVal ppConnectionLimitPolicy As IFPCConnectionLimitPolicy _
) As FPCConnectionLimitPolicy

Property value

Reference to an FPCConnectionLimitPolicy object that specifies the limits to the number of transport-layer protocol connections allowed at one time for default clients and special IP addresses.

Error codes

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

This property is read-only. The connection limit policy can be modified through the properties of the FPCConnectionLimitPolicy object retrieved (the IFPCConnectionLimitPolicy retrieved interface in C++).

The default limit for each transport-layer protocol is 160 connetions. In the case of UDP, the limit is on the number of connection mappings, rather than on the number of connections.
