IFPCEERef::Scope property

The Scope property gets a value from the FpcItemScope enumerated type that indicates whether the referenced item is defined on the array level or on the enterprise level. When an enterprise with central array management is deployed, rule elements, such as computers, computer sets, content type sets, domain name sets, IP address ranges, protocol definitions, schedules, subnets, URL sets, and user sets can be defined for an array or for the enterprise.

Property value

Value from the FpcItemScope enumerated type that indicates whether the referenced item is defined on the array level or on the enterprise level.

Error codes

This property method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

Remarks

This property is read-only. It is set in the call to the Add or AddScopedItem method of the FPCRefs collection that created the reference.

Note  Enterprise-level rule elements are available only in Forefront TMG Enterprise Edition.
