IFPC3::ChangeManager method

The ChangeManager method changes the array manager for the local array member.

Syntax

HRESULT ChangeManager(
  [in]  BSTR newVal,
  [in]  String newVal
);

Parameters

newVal [in]

C++	Required. BSTR that specifies the IP address or fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the array manager.
VB	Required. String that that specifies the IP address or fully qualified domain name (FQDN) of the array manager.

Return value

C++

This method returns S_OK if the call is successful; otherwise, it returns an error code.

VB

This method has no return values. If the call is unsuccessful, an error is raised that can be intercepted by using an error handler.

Remarks

After you run the SetAsManager method on one of the members of a standalone array to set it as the new array manager, run this method on each of the remaining members of the array.

This method is not supported in Forefront TMG Standard Edition or in any standalone deployment.
