Testing and Debugging Connected Data Source Extensions

With the release of ECMA 2.0, this feature has been deprecated and will be removed in future versions. You should use the Extensible Connectivity 2.0 Management Agent Reference for Connector development going forward.

To test your connected data source extension, run your management agent in the same process as your Forefront Identity Manager Synchronization Service (FIM Synchronization Service) server. If you run the management agent in a separate process, you will not get to your breakpoints.
