maxExclusive Property

 

[This feature was only implemented for MSXML 6.0.]

Returns a string. This string indicates a value that is one more than the maximum number of times the type can be used in a document (x = x+1). For more information about the maxExclusive facet, see Data Type Facets.

JScript Syntax

var strMaxExclusive = oISchemaType.maxExclusive;  

Parameters

None.

Return Values

strMaxExclusive
A string. The maxExclusive facet of the restriction.

Example

The following snippet is taken from the Walk the SOM sample application. In this snippet, the lengthpropertyis retrieved from the ISchemaType object.

    If oType.maxExclusive <> "" Then
        res = res + printTab(t+1) + "<xsd:maxExclusive value='"+ oType.maxExclusive + "'/>" + vbNewLine
    End If

Visual Basic Syntax

strMaxExclusive = oISchemaType.maxExclusive

C/C++ Syntax

HRESULT get_maxExclusive (BSTR* maxExclusive);  

Parameters

maxExclusive[out,retval]
A string. The maxExclusive facet string.

Return Values

S_OK
The value returned if successful.

E_POINTER
The value returned if the maxExclusive parameter is NULL.

E_FAIL
The value returned if something else is wrong.

Note

If the facet is not used, the property will return a NULL string.
