version Property (ISchema)

Returns a string that indicates the value of the version attribute for the <schema> declaration.

In MSXML 6.0, if there are multiple schema locations, this property is not implemented. It returns a zero length string.

Example

The following is an example of the version attribute in an XML Schema.

<xsd:schema version="4.57.2" xmlns:xsd="www.w3.org/2001/XMLSCHEMA"
   <xsd:element>
   </xsd:element>
</xsd:schema>

A string. The value of the version attribute of the XML Schema.

strVersion = oISchema.version

strVersion
A string. The value of the version attribute of the XML Schema.

Parameters

version[out,retval]
A string. The value of the version attribute of the XML Schema.

Return Values

S_OK
The value returned if successful.

E_Pointer
The value returned if the version parameter is NULL.

E_FAIL
The value returned if something else is wrong.
