MimeOleGetPropA function

Do not use. Gets the value of the specified property.

Syntax

HRESULT MimeOleGetPropA(
  _In_  IMimePropertySet *pPropertyset,
  _In_  LPCSTR           pszName,
  _In_  DWORD            dwFlags,
  _Out_ LPSTR            *ppszData
);

Parameters

pPropertyset [in]

Type: IMimePropertySet*

Specifies a pointer to an IMimePropertySet object.

pszName [in]

Type: LPCSTR

Specifies the property name or ID.

dwFlags [in]

Type: DWORD

Specifies a bitmask that affects how to get the property value. See GetProp.

ppszData [out]

Type: LPSTR*

Receives the value associated with the property. Note: this variable must have been initialized to point to a valid LPSTR before this call and user is responsible for freeing what is pointed to by this parameter.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

Returns one of the following values.

Return code Description
S_OK
Indicates success.
E_FAIL
Indicates that an unknown error has occurred.
E_INVALIDARG
Indicates that a pointer argument is NULL.
E_OUTOFMEMORY
Indicates that an attempt to allocate memory failed.
MIME_E_INVALID_HEADER_NAME
Indicates that pszName is invalid according the RFC 822 specification.
MIME_E_NO_DATA
Indicates that no data is associated with the property.
MIME_E_NOT_FOUND
Indicates that pszName does not specify an existing property.
