Secure RPC over Negotiate
The Secure RPC over Negotiate component facilitates remote procedure calls (RPCs) using the Negotiate Security Support Provider Interface (SSPI) for authentication and privacy protection. Other Secure RPC components provide different SSPI capabilities for RPC. Developers generally include one or more Secure RPC components to increase the security of RPCs.

There are no configurable settings for this component.
Each RPC component provides a specific RPC capability. You may find it necessary to include multiple RPC components. If an RPC function is called, but the RPC component exposing that function is not installed, the function call fails.
