Adding the Terminal Services component to a configuration enables the target system to be accessed using Remote Desktop. You can then manage and maintain a target device from any Windows-based system on the network.

Terminal Services should be added to a configuration during the development and test cycle.

Configuring Terminal Services

  1. In Target Designer, add the Terminal Services components to your configuration.

  2. In Target Designer, build your configuration and deploy it to the target.

  3. Using Remote Desktop, connect to the target system.
