Connection Manager Configuration for Portable Navigation Devices
10/16/2008
Applies to Windows Embedded NavReady
You can configure Connection Manager by modifying the XML provisioning file in the portable navigation device (PND).
By configuring Connection Manager, you can change connection settings for Remote Access Service (RAS) connections over Bluetooth Dial-up Networking (DUN), or for ActiveSync Desktop Pass-through (DTPT) connections over Pont-to-Point Protocol (PPP). For example, you can change the dial-up RAS number that Connection Manager uses to connect over the Bluetooth DUN Profile.
The settings in the XML provisioning file can be accessed programmatically by an application by using the DMProcessConfigXML function.
