This function returns the number of one bits in the argument.

Syntax

unsigned __cdecl _CountOneBits(
  long arg1
);

unsigned __cdecl _CountOneBits64(
  __int64 arg1
);

Parameters

  • arg1
    [in] The long integer value that the function examines for one bits.

Return Values

The number of one bits.

Remarks

This function can be implemented by calling a runtime function.
