This function creates a partition on the store.

Syntax

BOOL WINAPI CreatePartitionEx(
  HANDLE hStore,
  LPCTSTR szPartitionName,
  BYTE bPartType,
  SECTORNUM snNumSectors
);

Parameters

  • hStore
    [in] Handle to the store returned by the OpenStore function.
  • szPartitionName
    [in] Name of the partition.
  • bPartType
    [in] Type of partition.
  • snNumSectors
    [in] A 64-bit number indicating the size of the partition.

Return Value

TRUE indicates success. FALSE indicates failure.
