7/8/2014

To mount an image by using ImageX, you must first install the Windows Image File System Filter (WIM FS Filter) driver. By default, this driver is installed with Windows Embedded Standard 7 Toolkit, but if you want to run ImageX on a computer without Standard 7 Toolkit, you can install the driver separately.

Hardware and Software Assumptions

Key Concepts and Technologies

To install the WIM FS Filter driver from the Windows Embedded Standard 7 installation disk

  1. Insert your Standard 7 installation disk and browse to the following location: <dvd_drive>:\Windows Embedded Studio\ Windows Embedded Standard 7\Tools\<architecture>.
