DisableWelcomePage (Standard 7 Package Reference)

7/8/2014

DisableWelcomePage specifies whether to skip the welcome page when the user runs Windows Internet Explorer for the first time.

The Internet Explorer welcome page introduces users to the browser and its features.

Important

If both DisableWelcomePage and IEWelcomeMsg are set, the value for IEWelcomeMsg is used to determine if whether the welcome page is displayed. We recommend that you clear the value for IEWelcomeMsg, and use the DisableWelcomePage setting instead.

Note

When the user opens Internet Explorer for the first time, the user may also see the First Run Wizard. For more information, see DisableFirstRunWizard.

Values
