Power Manager Interfaces (Compact 7)

Power Manager supports three interfaces: a notification interface, an application interface, and a device driver interface. Each interface is intended for a particular type of client, as listed in the following table.

Power Manager Interfaces

Interface	Client Type
Notification	Applications that request notification of power events.
Application	Applications that request a new system power state or impose device performance requirements.
Device Driver	Power Manager-aware device drivers.
