OEMName (Standard 8 Module Reference)

Review the applicable Embedded Core modules and any examples for the OEMName setting in Windows Embedded 8 Standard (Standard 8).

This setting contains a string with a maximum length of 256 characters that specifies the name of the OEM to display as a header for a group of apps on the Start screen.

This value is appended with the word "apps" or the local equivalent on the Start screen.

XML Example

The following XML example shows how to set the OEM name so that Tiles created by the OEM appear on the Start screen with the heading “Fabricam apps”.
