This module provides the Extensible Authentication Protocol Host (EAPHost) on the device. EAPHost is a networking component that provides an Extensible Authentication Protocol (EAP) infrastructure that the system uses to authenticate supplicant protocol implementations, such as 802.1X and Point-to-Point (PPP). EAPHost provides a template for developing conformant authentication methods and allows authentication with authenticator technologies such as the Microsoft network policy server (NPS).
