This function simulates the specified IME hot key, causing the same response as if the user had pressed the hot key in the specified window.

BOOL ImmSimulateHotKey(HWNDhWnd,DWORD dwHotKeyID);

Parameters

  • hWnd
    [in] Handle to the window.
  • dwHotKeyID
    [in] Identifier of the IME hot key.

Return Values

Nonzero indicates success. Zero indicates failure.

Remarks

For Japanese versions 1.0 and later, Windows CE supports the following value for the dwHotKeyID parameter:

  • IME_JHOTKEY_CLOSE_OPEN
    (Japanese) Alternately opens and closes the IME.

This value is not supported for Windows CE 2.10 and later.
