Set Computer Name and Administrator Password
This screen allows you to identify the computer and set the administrator’s password.
In the Computer Name box, accept the proposed name or type the name of the computer on which the product will be installed.
A valid name must have a length of 15 characters or less, begin with a letter, and may also include numbers and hyphens but cannot include special characters, spaces, or periods.
Type a password in the Administrator Password box. An administrator password is required.
The password**is case-sensitive and may contain as many as 127 characters. A strong password is required. A strong password:
- Does not contain the user name.
- Is at least six characters long.
- Contains characters from three of the following four groups:
Description Examples Lowercase letters a, b, c,... Uppercase letters A, B, C,... Numerals 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 Symbols (all characters not defined as letters or numerals) ` ~ ! @ # $ % ^ & * ( ) _ + -={ } | [ ] \ : " ; ' < > ? , . / Type the same password in the Confirm Password box.
To continue with Setup, click Next. To exit from Setup, click Cancel.
Be sure to make note of the administrator password and keep this information in a safe place for later use.
