Disable File and Print Sharing

If you do not need to support Microsoft file and print sharing, disable it. You can exclude the File Sharing component from your configuration. Additionally, you can disable File and print sharing in your run-time image.

  1. In Control panel, click the Network and Internet Connections icon, and choose Network Connections.
  2. Right-click Local Area Connections and choose Properties.
  3. Clear the File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks box.
