The modulation settings specify the command strings that are required to set the modem's modulation modes. The available modulation modes are as follows:

  • Modulation_CCITT
    CCITT modulations for 300 & 1200 bps

  • Modulation_Bell
    Bell modulations for 300 & 1200 bps

  • Modulation_CCITT_V23
    CCITT modulations for V23

The following two examples demonstrate the use of these entries:

    HKR, Settings,Modulation_Bell,, "B1B16"

Remarks

Do not include these entries if the modem does not support any Modulation settings. The supported commands must be indicated in the ModemOptions member of the Properties INF file entry.
