How to Manually Schedule USB DTM Jobs

Note  This content applies to the Windows Logo Kit (WLK). For the latest information using the new Windows Hardware Certification Kit (HCK), see Windows HCK User's Guide on the Windows Hardware Dev Center.

To manually schedule USB DTM jobs, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Device Manager of the client machine and make a note of the VID and PID of the device you would like to test.

Note  If you are not running a USB test, then this is probably not needed. Please check what other parameters are needed to run the test.

  2. Go to Explorers > Job Explorer and find the test that you would like to run.

  3. Right-click the job and select Schedule.

  4. Enter the VID and PID of the device from step 1.

Note  If you are not running a USB test, then you may have to enter different parameters here. Also, there may be additional parameters that you want to change, such as the number of iterations on stress tests.

  5. Select the client machine that you would like the test to run on.

  6. Select Create Schedule to run the job. The job will show up in the job monitor under the system that you selected...
