Test Shows Out-of-Context Errors

The rollup information in DTM Studio that the job or task reports includes the out-of-context error, blocked, warned, and skipped traces. If your test logs such traces outside of XxxStartTest or XxxEndTest, these traces will be reported.

To work with out-of-context errors, we recommend that you:

  • Fix all out of context errors or find a way to handle them by using the CheckResult or CheckResultEx methods and error lists.

  • Better handle unexpected warnings, blocking issues, and skipped traces.

  • Fix the problems as soon as they show up in the rollup in DTM Studio.
