IActiveIMMApp::DestroyContext method

Releases the input context and frees any memory that is associated with it.

Syntax

HRESULT DestroyContext(
  [in] HIMC hIME
);

Parameters

  • hIME [in]
    A handle to the input context.

Return value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.

Remarks

Any application that creates an input context by using the IActiveIMMApp::CreateContext method must call this method to free the context before it terminates.

This method maps to the ImmDestroyContext function that is documented in the Windows Software Development Kit (SDK).
