SetProperty method

Sets a property.

Syntax

HRESULT retVal = object.SetProperty(pszName, pvarProperty);

Parameters

  • pszName [in]
    Type: LPCOLESTR

    A pointer to a string that specifies the name of the property to set.

  • pvarProperty [out]
    Type: VARIANT

    Receives a pointer to the property.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
