Monitor Computers and Devices for Alerts

You can monitor your managed computers and devices for alerts on the Managed Computers and Devices page of the Computers and Devices tab.

Note

You must use an account that is in the Domain Admins group to perform this procedure.

To monitor the network for alerts

1. Click Start, click All Programs, click Windows Essential Business Server, and then click Windows Essential Business Server Administration Console.

2. Click the Computers and Devices tab.

3. In the results pane, review the Critical Alerts column to see if any critical alerts are displayed.

4. To view recent alerts for all managed computers and devices, in the tasks pane, click View recent alerts. The System Center Essentials console starts.

5. In the console list view, you can review all critical alerts, warning alerts, and informational alerts from the last seven days. For more information about a particular alert, click it, and then in the details pane, view detailed information.
