  1. Open Administrative Tools.

  2. Double-click Security Configuration Wizard.

Notes

  • To open Administrative Tools, click Start, click Control Panel, and then click Administrative Tools.

  • Security Configuration Wizard (SCW) can be used to author policy and to perform configuration or rollback for one server at a time. The SCW executable is called SCW.exe. To start SCW from the command prompt, type SCW.

  • The SCW command-line tool can be used for multi-machine configuration, analysis, rollback, and Group Policy object (GPO) policy management. The SCW command-line tool is called scwcmd.exe. To start SCW from the command prompt, type SCWcmd. To see SCW command-line help, type scwcmd.exe /?
