Enable or Disable Target Journaling

Use this procedure to enable or disable Message Queuing target journaling.
You can use this procedure to enable or disable Message Queuing target journaling. Enable target journaling to store copies of incoming messages on the computer hosting the applicable destination (target) queue.
Membership in the local Administrators group, or equivalent, is the minimum required to complete this procedure.
To enable or disable Message Queuing target journaling
Click Start, point to Run, type compmgmt.msc, and press ENTER to display the Computer Management MMC console.
In the console tree, right-click the applicable queue.
- Computer Management/Services and Applications/Message Queuing/YourQueueFolder (Public Queues or Private Queues)/YourQueue
On the General page, in Journal, select the Enabled check box. Or, to disable target journaling for the queue, clear the Enabled check box.
Target journaling is enabled or disabled on a per queue basis.
